The province of India has erected a Grotto of our Lady at Seva Sadan, Manjalumoodu for the sisters in retirement and blessed by the parish priest Fr. Augustine Thalody on 15th October 2015, on the Feast of St Theresa of Avila.

This Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes memorializes the appearance of Mary, Mother of God, to the young girl Bernadette at Lourdes, France. But here for us Sisters of the Divine Saviour it is a special place to spend quiet moments with the Lord and to experience the deeper transformation.

It reminds us a step forward in the journey to God, with Mary as the model for that journey and it is a beacon of light, hope, courage and inspiration for elderly sisters, sick and all those who visit this sacred spot.

All of us are very happy to have this grotto and we are thankful to God and to our sisters who supported us with all the requirements.

With this confidence let us ask Mary our Mother in our daily prayer to intercede for us all by her Son Jesus Christ.
