An intense task of the general chapter consists of hearing and dealing with the reports of the superior general, of the general financial administrator, of the individual provinces and of the provincial chapters about the concrete situation in the respective countries, about the situation of the concrete forms and places of involvement as well as about the different establishments in the field of health and education. Reports on different topics like co-operation with those working with us or who are on the way with us, the way in which the young generation of our sisters lives and are accompanied / supported …

The various topics are covered / handled under the guidance of the moderator in the groups of the representatives of the provinces or delegations, in mixed groups, or simply in small groups of three / five … spontaneously getting together in the chapter-hall.

The groups report in plenary in different ways: the respective points are collected on notice board and evaluated.

One form of working out is also the open discussion in plenary.

The concentrated outcome finally provides a basis for further important tasks:

Accent settings; formulation of Orientations for the entire congregation for the coming years; also preparation of upcoming decisions incumbent upon the general chapter.

Free time in the evening alone or in cheerful company of sisters give new strength for the new working day.

We do not wish to deny the fact that the current summer heat is very excessive here, too; each one of us deal with it in her/his own way to be ready for work in spite of the heat.
